The Divine Exchange

Good morning

Scripture reading: 1 Peter 1:18-21

Worship song: Ten Thousand Angels Cried

Meditation:

The initiated plan by God was a profound divine exchange: our sin and brokenness for the righteousness and holiness of Christ. Jesus, the sinless one, stood in the gap, willingly taking our punishment so that we could be made the righteousness of God. We were not redeemed with corruptible things but with the precious blood of Jesus Christ, predetermined before the foundation of the world for the remission of sin.

Though he was rich, Jesus became poor for our sake so we may be enriched through his sacrificial atonement. He bore the emotional scars of rejection and the physical pain of chastisement, carrying the weight of the world's sins. He endured a temporary separation from God to bridge the gap between God and humanity. This enabled us to reconcile with our Heavenly Father and develop a permanent relationship with Him.

Now, we are children of royalty, joint heirs with Jesus, redeemed by his precious blood and liberated from the burden of sin. There is no higher form of demonstration of love than the divine sacrificial love of Jesus Christ on Calvary's cross.

Let us pray.

Dear Heavenly Father, I am extremely grateful for your divine sacrifice, which covers our brokenness and sinful nature. We exalt and glorify you, Lord God, for sending your son, Jesus Christ, to liberate us from the burden of sin. Lord, we wholeheartedly express our gratitude for the unmerited love you have bestowed upon us and for granting us the privilege to become joint heirs with Jesus Christ. Thank you, Almighty God, for breaking the chains of strongholds, liberating us from Satanic oppression and sin's bondage. Thank you, Lord God, for providing us the strength to resist temptation and the ability to stand firm against the enemy's attacks. Thank you, Lord, for the guidance of the Holy Spirit leading us in the powerful name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Have a peaceful day. 💖🙏
