Stapled Together

Good morning

Scripture reading: Psalms 133

Worship Song: Bind Us Together

Meditation:

The first known device for fastening papers was reportedly created for King Louis XV. Each staple was handcrafted and inscribed with the royal court's insignia. The stapler's primary purpose is to secure a collection of papers into a single document, preventing the pages from becoming disorganized or lost.

Similar with believers, faith acts as the staple, providing the stability and strength to remain steadfast against the storms of life and the forces of adversity. The believer's core function is to join in love with one accord in faith to proclaim the name of Jesus Christ and spread the gospel. Together we provide stability and strength by supporting and encouraging each other.

Apostle Paul's words in 1 Corinthians 1:10 urge all believers to be united in thought and speech, perfectly joined together, having the same mindset and judgment to prevent division within the church. David proclaimed in Psalms 133, that seeing God's people in harmony with one another in faith is a beautiful and powerful experience. Unity is strength, so as believers, let us unite together to fulfill our God-given mission. United we will stand but divided we will fail.

Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we pray for unity among your people. Bind us together in one accord, with faith that is established by trust. Grant us, O God, the grace to be of one mind and heart and to labor together for your divine plan. May our purpose help us to provide stability and strength as we support and encourage each other. Help us, Lord God, to express love, one towards another as you have loved us. May we dwell together in unity and help proclaim your name, Lord, through Jesus Christ. Amen.

Wishing you a wonderful day. 💕🙏💪
