The Rejected and Overlooked

Good morning

Scripture reading: Genesis 29:28-31

Worship song: Grace

Meditation:

Leah's marriage to Jacob was not by choice but a result of her father, Laban's deceit. Despite the difficulty she encountered in her marriage, she was favoured in the eyes of the Lord. God acknowledged Leah's heartache over her husband's neglect and blessed her with children, whose names testified to her gratitude for God's divine help. She learned to find joy, peace, and contentment even in a challenging situation by focusing on God's blessings and plan.

You might be qualified for a task but overlooked and rejected. You may have been trying for years to make the team, be recognized, or be accepted, but still, no one notices you. Do not be discouraged or dismayed, God sees and knows your potential. His plans for you are greater than any human perspective. Instead of dwelling on what you cannot change, place your trust in God, who has the power to change everything. God can turn your challenging situations into blessings. Leah stopped looking at her misery and instead looked to God, who changes everything. Her journey is a demonstration that our true worth and validation do not come from man but from God.

Let us pray:

Eternal and righteous God, I glorify and worship you. You deserve all the praise and honor. Your love is immeasurable, and your mercy lasts forever. We thank you, Lord God, for the gifts you have bestowed upon us and for the divine purpose you have set for our lives. God, we thank you for valuing our spiritual potential over our physical limitations. We gratefully accept your validation, knowing you have ultimate power over all things. We look to you, O God, to comfort the weary, the outcast, the rejected, the overlooked, and turn difficult situations into blessings. Unlock, O God, our potential and empower our abilities. Grant us the wisdom and knowledge required to accomplish the task set before us. We appreciate your manifold blessings and divine grace through Jesus Christ. Amen.

Wishing you a wonderful day. 👊💕🙏
