Escape Judgement
Good morning
Scripture reading: Rev. 20:10-15
Worship song: The Old Rugged Cross
Meditation:
If you are thinking, like those who believe, that God will not destroy what he has created, you have the wrong concept. There will come a day when we will all stand before God to be judged according to our deeds. 6 2 Cor. 5:10 clearly states that we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that everyone may receive the things done in his body, according to what he has done, whether it be good or bad.
In Matthew 13, Jesus Christ explained the parable of the tares to the disciples helping them understand what the kingdom of Heaven is like. Jesus Christ declared what the kingdom of heaven is like. He told them that at the end of the world, angels will separate the wicked from among the just and shall cast them into the furnace of fire; where there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. God knows all we have done and will do even before we were born.
There is nothing that we can do that is
hidden from Him. God knows all our deeds and actions. He is the Omnipresent,
Omniscient, Omnipotent God. He is present everywhere, and therefore, He knows
everything. The only way to avoid God's wrath is by acknowledging our mistakes,
our transgressions, accepting Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, and living
according to His commands. Building a faithful and committed relationship with
God helps us avoid divine judgment, and ultimately, your name will be recorded
in the Lamb's Book of Life.
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, have mercy on us. Please blot out our
transgressions, O God, and help us, Lord, to live holy and righteous, doing
only what you desire. Father, I pray that those who have strayed and stopped
believing that you will return, will one day acknowledge your prophetic words
in Revelation 20 that you, O God, will return to judge us according to our
deeds. Father, I pray we will be ready and waiting like the wise virgins, with
our lamps trimmed and our hearts adorned with righteousness. Grant us, Lord
God, an enduring spirit to withstand the persecution, overcome trials, and
stand firm amidst the venom of the adversary in the mighty name of Jesus
Christ. Amen.
Wishing you a peaceful day. ✌💕🙏
