End Of The Road

Good morning

Scripture reading: Exodus 14:15-16

Worship song: The End

Meditation:

The Israelites were stricken by fear and extreme panic as they realized the Red Sea had blocked their path, preventing their progress. Fearing Pharaoh's advancing army, they implored Moses for help, and he prayed to God for deliverance. At God's command to move forward in faith, Moses stretched out his hand toward the ocean and watched in awe as the waves parted to create a path for the Israelites.

Moving forward in faith allowed God to act, showing His great power to protect and deliver His people. The sea parted only after they took the step of faith towards the water. God's command demands our full obedience. Is your Red Sea blocking your progress, preventing you from moving forward? It is easy to feel trapped, like you cannot move forward or succeed, as though you have reached a dead end in a situation or plan. Whether it is health challenges, broken trust, addiction, extreme fear, or financial struggles, whatever it is, you can still move forward by faith, trusting God's sovereign power.

When hardship hits, act rather than fear, remembering that God told Moses to stop crying and command the people to move forward with the staff he already had in his hand.

Let us pray:

Everlasting Father, the Alpha and Omega, I come boldly declaring You as Sovereign Lord, Emmanuel, God with us. We surrender every red sea that is preventing us from moving forward, Almighty God, the ones blocking our path. Today, we declare them defeated by Your power, Lord. When life’s storms are raging, and hope dims, remind us that You control the storms. When troubles surround us like the Red Sea, and whenever we become fearful of situations that overwhelm us, help us resist panic and doubt. Remind us that You, O God, parted the ocean for Moses and the Israelites after obedience to Your command. Remind us, O God, that every act of obedience in accordance with Your will brings uncommon favor. Remove any spirit of stubbornness and fear. Empower us to trust You fully and not rely on our own understanding. Guide us, dear Lord, and order our steps daily. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Peace and love. Keep safe. ✌💕🙏
