Meditation:

    Historically, both the Pharaoh, ruler of ancient Egypt, and King Herod, ruler of Judea, initiated schemes to eliminate all newborn males. Herod's motive was to eliminate the potential rival to his power, believing that the child prophesied to be the king of the Jews was a threat to his reign. Pharaoh's motive was similar to that of Herod. Pharaoh saw the Israelites as a potential threat, believing that they would join forces with his allies against him. He tried to control their growth by enslaving them and making them serve with rigor. The plot against children is an ongoing issue of child vulnerability, and violence is a tragic reality. 

    All children have a fundamental human right to be safe, protected, and empowered to reach their full potential. Children are a precious gift from God and a blessing to be cherished. Our responsibility is to nurture and guide them. Happy is the man who has his quiver full of them. (Psalm 127:3-5). Every child belongs to God, so be careful how you treat those who are entrusted to you. Safeguarding and caring for children is a shared, essential duty among all adults, who must act as dedicated protectors of these vulnerable and sacred young lives. Watch over them as a hen watched over its young, for they belong to God. They are the future generation.

Let us pray:

    Merciful, wonderful Savior, blessed redeemer and friend, we cry unto you, Lord God, on behalf of the children who are wounded, afflicted, and suffering at the hands of the wicked. We declare blood coverage over every child, guide their steps, illuminate their path, and grant them wisdom to make sound choices. We commit them into your care and ask for a special layer of divine protection. We beseech you, Almighty God, to dispatch your guarding angels to protect and shield every child from danger, adversity, pedophiles, negative influences, and every form of ungodliness. Lord, lift up a standard against the plans of the adversary. Put a stop to his evil schemes. Help our children to grow in faith, kindness, love, and compassion. I ask for your divine anointing to be poured upon every child; bless their lives with health, happiness, and a future filled with purpose in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Good Deeds Cannot Override Sin

Good morning Scripture reading: Matthew 7:21-23 Song: Grace Will Always Be Greater Than Sin   Meditation:      If each time we do good deeds, they override our sins, many of our sins would remain because our good deeds are either few or nonexistent. Think about how many times you sin per hour and compare it to how many good deeds you do in a day. Sin is primarily conceived and committed in the mind and manifested in our actions. Our salvation is a gift of God’s mercy, achieved through the transformative power of the Holy Spirit enables a profound renewal within us. This inner transformation represents a complete cleansing and transformation, not just an outward change.
