We Need The Savior

Scripture reading: Ephesians 2:1-5

Meditation:

    Without the Savior, humans operate like a ticking time bomb ready to self-destruct. Blinded by sin and living in our sinful state gives rise to desires that appeal to fleshly lust that has led us down the path of unholiness and ungodliness separating us from God. We all need a Savior, Jesus Christ the one who died to rescue us. He is our refuge from the dangerous deluge of our selfish desires and destructive self-will. Jesus Christ has availed himself to be our shield, our high tower, and our Savior to shelter us in the time of storm. 

    We all need a Savior to protect us and shelter us from the rebellion and unfaithfulness of our hearts. We all need a Savior to deliver and purge away our sins. The God of my rock, in whom I trust, the horn of my salvation is the only savior for mankind. I was once alienated living disconnected from God, without hope, and following my own way. But now, united with Christ, I am redeemed and released from my past sins and selfish desires by His blood. We all need divine protection to withstand the devil's cunning devices and withstand spiritual attacks. We all need the Savior, Jesus Christ, our Lord.

Let us pray:

    Adonai, God Almighty, I worship and adore you, my King, who delivered me from despair and saved me from the stronghold of the adversary. Father, I have found you to be a faithful Savior, keeping watch over me day and night. Almighty God, You are my rock, my high tower, my refuge, and my strength. Lord, time and time again, you have come to my rescue when I needed shelter, a defender, and help to overcome the trials and tribulations. Abba Father, we all need a savior and so Father, I beseech you to hastily rescue us from the dangerous tides that rise in our hearts, Lord. Our hearts are prone to drift and our ways have become broken. We desperately need your merciful hand to save us from our destructive sinful nature. We have fallen by our own iniquities and need your grace to restore us. Father, grant those bound by self-will the grace to yield to Your Spirit. Thank you, Heavenly Father, for being our protector and the One who saves us, my God whom we rely on completely in Jesus' name. Amen.

    We were sick and helpless and ready to die when our savior heard our desperate cry and from the waters lifted us now safe are we. We cannot now become ungrateful nor forgetful of the help we received, we must maintain our relationship, fellowship and faithfulness to the one who cause us to be who we are. 🙏
