Turn Your Worries Into Praise

Good morning

Scripture reading: Matthew 6:25-34

Worship song: My life is in your hands

Meditation

Why worry about tomorrow? Why worry when things are not going as planned? While it is easy to stop worrying about minor issues, what actions should we take when bigger problems arise and leave us in a state of panic and agitation? Worry does not change the outcome. Instead of resolving difficulties, worry depletes your energy and keeps you from focusing on solutions.

Worry merely adds stress to our already burdensome situations, which may subsequently lead to health hazards. Do not be anxious about your daily necessities. God cares for the birds, and he makes the lilies of the field beautiful. You are of far greater value than they are. Worrying stems from a lack of faith in God, our provider. We worry because we carry our burdens instead of leaving them at the altar.

Jesus states, "Come unto me all who are heavy-laden. Bring with you your problems, lack, spiritual weaknesses, financial difficulties, sorrows, pain, and deficiencies, and leave them at the foot of the cross. Do not concern yourself with tomorrow, for tomorrow will take care of itself.

No amount of worry can alter the future, just as no amount of regret can change the past. God is aware of your needs, and he has heard your cries. Turn your worries into praise and worship. Let us trust in God, and in all circumstances, let us give thanks.

Let us pray:

Dear Heavenly Father, Great Provider, You are great, and worthy to be praised. Almighty God, there is so much to give you thanks for, yet we spend our time worrying about the situations beyond our control. Almighty God, we tend to worry when trouble surrounds us and when we face unforeseen challenges instead of turning to you. Almighty God, we sometimes forget that you are our Provider, our Balm in Gilead, our Healer, our Comforter, and our Keeper. Almighty God, we confess that when our faith is tested, we succumb to fear. Father, we beseech you to nullify the spirit of doubt, worry, and fear, and let them not have dominion over us. Father, we look to you, O God, to transform our mindset and liberate us from the bondage of fear. We trust you, O God, to supply our needs according to your riches in glory through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.

Wishing you a filled with happiness. 💓🙏👏

  1. Anytime our minds are idle we tend to worry. While one is actively doing something it leaves less room for worry. While this may not be everyone experience, i experience it. We have to ask God's help to overcome these things because there are many things to think about. Let choose what occupied us and fight hard to avoid the one's that destroy us. 🙏💪
